Visitor Safety Guidelines in Emergency Situations

Matrix Pharmacorp is committed to ensuring the safety of all visitors and employees. In case of emergencies such as explosions, fire, electrical short circuit, bomb threats, or other critical incidents, visitors are expected to follow the organization's Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan.

  • Visitors are strictly advised not to use elevators or lifts during any emergency. Please use the nearest emergency staircases to evacuate safely.
  • All floors of the building are equipped with emergency fire safety equipment like fire alarms, smoke detectors, sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers & fire hose reels in fire box. These systems operate in automatic mode and are regularly inspected.
  • Visitors are not authorized to operate any fire safety equipment under any circumstances. These systems are managed by trained personnel to ensure proper and safe usage during emergencies.
  • Any malfunction observed in these equipment should be reported immediately to the security team.
  • All emergency exits in the building are clearly marked, easily accessible, and their locations are regularly communicated to employees and visitors. These exits are interconnected with the fire alarm system and will automatically open upon activation of any fire alarm, ensuring a safe and efficient evacuation process.
  • An up-to-date emergency contact list is maintained by security to ensure rapid coordination and response during any emergency. This list includes key contacts such as: Local emergency services – Hospital, Ambulance services, closest fire station; On duty and back Doctors & nursing staff, first aid support team (tie up with local hospital); Utility providers, Electricity suppliers; Health and safety officials, Fire departments, Telecommunication providers.
  • In case of a medical emergency, visitors are requested to immediately contact the Security Team. Our corporate facility is equipped with an Occupational Health Centre (OHC) that is prepared to respond promptly to medical emergencies.
